The Vision of Mohinī (मोहिनी-दर्शनम्)
निरस्य पितृवाक्यं तु व्रजेत्स्नातुं सुरापगाम् । नो शुद्धिस्तस्य पुत्रस्य इतीत्थं वैदिकी श्रुतिः ॥ २३ ॥
nirasya pitṛvākyaṃ tu vrajetsnātuṃ surāpagām | no śuddhistasya putrasya itītthaṃ vaidikī śrutiḥ || 23 ||
जो पिता की आज्ञा को तिरस्कृत करके सुरापगा नदी में स्नान करने जाता है, उस पुत्र को उससे शुद्धि नहीं मिलती—ऐसा वैदिक श्रुति कहती है।
