kiṃ prāptaṃ kiṃca kartavyaṃ kathaṃ kṛtvā sukhaṃ bhavet devayānī prasūtāsau vṛthāhaṃ prāptayauvanā //

मैंने क्या पाया और अब क्या करना चाहिए? किस उपाय से सुख होगा? देवयानी तो संतानवती हो गई, और मैं व्यर्थ ही यौवन को प्राप्त हुई।
