तस्मिन्समागमे सुभ्रूः शर्मिष्ठा वार्षपर्वणी लेभे गर्भं प्रथमतस् तस्मान्नृपतिसत्तमात् //

tasminsamāgame subhrūḥ śarmiṣṭhā vārṣaparvaṇī lebhe garbhaṃ prathamatas tasmānnṛpatisattamāt //

उस संगम में सु-भ्रू (सुंदर भौंहों वाली) वृषपर्वन् की पुत्री शर्मिष्ठा ने उस श्रेष्ठ नरेश से पहली बार गर्भ धारण किया।
