Matsya Purana — Śrāddha Procedure: Types, Shloka 31

भोजयेदीश्वरो ऽपीह न कुर्याद्विस्तरं बुधः दैवपूर्वं नियोज्याथ विप्रानर्घ्यादिना बुधः //

bhojayedīśvaro 'pīha na kuryādvistaraṃ budhaḥ daivapūrvaṃ niyojyātha viprānarghyādinā budhaḥ //

इस विषय में समर्थ स्वामी भी केवल भोजन कराए, दिखावा न करे। पहले देव-पूजन कर, फिर अर्घ्य आदि से ब्राह्मणों का सत्कार कर उन्हें नियोजित करे।
