Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement
उपाशाम्यद् रजो भौम॑ सर्व व्याप्तं मरीचिभि: । दिव्यगन्धानुपादाय वायुर्योधानसेवत
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
upāśāmyad rajo bhaumaṃ sarva-vyāptaṃ marīcibhiḥ |
divya-gandhān upādāya vāyur yodhān asevata ||
वैशम्पायन बोले— धरती की धूल शान्त हो गई थी और किरणों का प्रकाश सर्वत्र फैल गया था। दिव्य सुगन्ध को साथ लिए वायु वहाँ स्थित योद्धाओं के बीच विचर रही थी, मानो उनकी सेवा कर रही हो।
