Pulastya’s Instruction
ततो मुञ्जवटं नाम स्थाणो: स्थान महात्मन: । उपोष्य रजनीमेकां गाणपत्यमवाप्लनुयात्,तदनन्तर महात्मा स्थाणुके मुजजवट नामक स्थानमें जाय। वहाँ एक रात रहनेसे मानव गणपतिपद प्राप्त करता है
tato muñjavaṭaṃ nāma sthāṇoḥ sthānaṃ mahātmanaḥ | upoṣya rajanīm ekāṃ gāṇapatyam avāpnoti ||
तत्पश्चात् महात्मा स्थाणु (शिव) के स्थान ‘मुञ्जवट’ नामक पवित्र क्षेत्र में जाए। वहाँ एक रात्रि उपवासपूर्वक रहने से मनुष्य गणपति-पद (शिवगणों में स्थान) प्राप्त करता है।
