तथैवासीद्ू विदर्भेषु भीमो भीमपराक्रम: । शूर: सर्वगुणैर्युक्त: प्रजाकाम: स चाप्रज:
tathaivāsīd vidarbheṣu bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ | śūraḥ sarvaguṇair yuktaḥ prajākāmaḥ sa cāprajaḥ ||
बृहदश्व बोले—इसी प्रकार विदर्भ देश में भीम नाम का एक पुरुष था, जिसकी पराक्रम-भयंकरता प्रसिद्ध थी। वह शूरवीर और समस्त गुणों से युक्त था; संतान की कामना करता था, परन्तु निःसंतान ही था।
