यच्चापि ते भयं तीव्र न च कीर्तयसे क्वचित् । तच्चाप्यपहरिष्यामि धनंजय इतो गते
yaccāpi te bhayaṃ tīvraṃ na ca kīrtayase kvacit | taccāpyapahariṣyāmi dhanaṃjaya ito gate
और तुम्हारा जो तीव्र भय है, जिसका तुम कहीं भी उल्लेख नहीं करते—धनंजय के यहाँ से चले जाने पर मैं भी उस भय को दूर कर दूँगा।
जनमेजय उवाच
The verse highlights a ruler’s or protector’s responsibility to address unspoken distress: even fears that a person cannot bring themselves to articulate should be recognized and removed through timely support and right action.
Janamejaya speaks to someone who harbors a severe, unexpressed fear. He promises that once Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna) has left, he will also dispel that fear—indicating a plan to resolve the cause of anxiety after Arjuna’s departure.
