प्रहृष्मनस: सर्वे किंचिदुत्फुल्ललोचना: । साभिमानमिदं वाक्यं दुर्योधनमथाब्रुवन्‌

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

prahṛṣṭamanasaḥ sarve kiñcid utphullalocanāḥ |

sābhimānam idaṃ vākyaṃ duryodhanam athābruvan ||

वे सबके सब प्रसन्नचित्त थे और उनके नेत्र हर्ष से कुछ खिल उठे थे। तब उन्होंने दुर्योधन से अभिमानपूर्ण यह वचन कहा।
