पत्यौ स्त्री तु तदा राजन् पुरुषो वा स्त्रियं प्रति । युगान्ते राजशार्दूल न तोषमुपयास्यति,नृपश्रेष्ठ! युगान्तकाल आनेपर स्त्री अपने पतिसे और पति अपनी स्त्रीसे संतुष्ट नहीं होंगे
patyau strī tu tadā rājan puruṣo vā striyaṃ prati | yugānte rājaśārdūla na toṣam upayāsyati, nṛpaśreṣṭha |
मार्कण्डेय बोले—हे राजन्! युगान्त के समय स्त्री अपने पति से और पति अपनी स्त्री से संतुष्ट नहीं होगा। हे राजशार्दूल! किसी को तृप्ति न मिलेगी।
