विक्षिपन् नादयंश्वापि धनु: श्रेष्ठ महाबल: । तूणखड्गधर: शूरो बद्धगोधाड्गुलित्रवान्
vikṣipan nādayaṁśvāpi dhanuḥ śreṣṭha mahābalaḥ | tūṇa-khaḍga-dharaḥ śūro baddha-godhā-aṅgulitravān
वह महाबली शूरवीर श्रेष्ठ धनुषधारी होकर भी धनुष की टंकार नहीं करता था। तूणीर और खड्ग धारण किए, गोधा-चर्म का बँधा हुआ अँगुलित्र पहने, वह संयमित तत्परता से आगे बढ़ता था।
