निरमर्षेष्वचेष्टेषु प्रेक्षमाणेषु पाण्डुषु । पाहि मामिति गोविन्द मनसा चिन्तितो5सि मे
niramārṣeṣv aceṣṭeṣu prekṣamāṇeṣu pāṇḍuṣu | pāhi mām iti govinda manasā cintito 'si me ||
जब पाण्डव केवल देखते रहे—न क्रोध जागा, न छुड़ाने का प्रयत्न—तब मैं अत्यन्त असहाय होकर मन-ही-मन आपका स्मरण कर बोली: ‘गोविन्द! मेरी रक्षा कीजिए।’
