हित्वा सुखं प्रतिरुध्येन्द्रियाणि तेन देवानामगमद् गौरवं सः । तथा नक्षत्राणि कर्मणामुत्र भान्ति रुद्रादित्या वसवो5थापि विश्वे
hitvā sukhaṁ pratirudhya indriyāṇi tena devānām agamad gauravaṁ saḥ | tathā nakṣatrāṇi karmaṇām utra bhānti rudrādityā vasavo 'thāpi viśve ||
वायु ने कहा—सुख का त्याग करके और इन्द्रियों को रोककर, उसने सत्कर्म के बल से देवताओं में महान गौरव प्राप्त किया। इसी प्रकार नक्षत्र भी परलोक में अपने कर्मों के प्रभाव से चमकते हैं; और रुद्र, आदित्य, वसु तथा विश्वदेवगण भी कर्मबल से ही महत्त्व को प्राप्त हुए हैं।
