Udyoga Parva
tataḥ punar anīkāni nyayojayat buddhimān | mohayan dhṛtarāṣṭrasya putrāṇāṃ buddhi-niścayam ||
Even in war, intelligence and disciplined organization can be ethically significant: leadership involves clear judgment and strategic action that reduces the opponent’s harmful resolve without needless escalation. The verse highlights prudence (buddhi) as a form of power.
Yudhiṣṭhira, after moving a short distance, reorganizes his forces again. This tactical redeployment is intended to confuse the Kauravas’ settled plans and weaken their confidence and coordination.
