तमहं गीर्भिरिष्टाभि: पुन: पुनररिंदम | अयाचं भृगुशार्दूलं न चैव प्रशशाम सः

Transliteration

tam ahaṁ gīrbhir iṣṭābhiḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdama | ayācaṁ bhṛguśārdūlaṁ na caiva praśaśāma saḥ ||

Translation

हे शत्रुदमन! मैं भृगुकुल-शार्दूल परशुराम से बार-बार प्रिय और शान्ति देने वाले वचनों द्वारा विनय करता रहा; पर वे तनिक भी शान्त न हुए।
