अत-४-छका+ द्विसप्तत्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: भीष्मका पाण्डवपक्षके अतिरथी वीरोंका वर्णन करते हुए शिखण्डी और पाण्डवोंका वध न करनेका कथन भीष्म उवाच रोचमानो महाराज पाण्डवानां महारथ: । योत्स्यते5मरवत् संख्ये परसैन्येषु भारत
Bhīṣma uvāca | Rocamāno mahārāja pāṇḍavānāṁ mahārathaḥ | yotsyate ’maravat saṅkhye parasainyeṣu Bhārata ||
भीष्म बोले—महाराज! भारत! पाण्डवों की ओर राजा रोचमान एक महारथी है। वह संग्राम में शत्रु-सेनाओं के बीच देवताओं के समान पराक्रम दिखाते हुए युद्ध करेगा।
