“तुम राग-द्वेषसे भरे हुए हो; अतः मोहवश मनमाने ढंगसे रथी-अतिरथियोंका विभाग कर रहे हो ।।

Transliteration

tvaṁ rāga-dveṣena bhṛtaḥ; ataḥ mohavaśaṁ manamāna-dhaṅgena rathī-atirathīnāṁ vibhāgaṁ karoṣi. duryodhana mahābāho sādhu samyag avekṣyatām; tyajyatāṁ duṣṭabhāvo ’yaṁ bhīṣmaḥ kilbiṣakṛt tava.

Translation

तुम राग-द्वेष से भरे हुए हो; इसलिए मोह के वश होकर मनमाने ढंग से रथी और अतिरथियों का विभाग कर रहे हो। महाबाहु दुर्योधन! भली-भाँति विचार करके देखो; यह दुष्ट धारणा छोड़ दो कि ‘भीष्म तुम्हारे विरुद्ध पाप कर रहे हैं।’
