भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा
Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
कुरूणामहितो नित्य न च राजावबुध्यते । को हि नाम समानेषु राजसूदारकर्मसु
kurūṇām ahito nityaṁ na ca rājāvabudhyate | ko hi nāma samāneṣu rājasūdārakarmasu ||
भीष्म बोले—तुम कौरवों का सदा अहित करते हो, पर राजा इसे समझ नहीं पाता। युद्ध का अवसर उपस्थित है और समान श्रेणी के उदारचरित राजा एकत्र हुए हैं; ऐसे समय में फूट डालने की इच्छा से अपने ही पक्ष के योद्धा का तेज और उत्साह कौन नष्ट करेगा?
