Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 165 — Bhīṣma’s Appraisal and Karṇa’s Rebuttal (भीष्म–कर्ण विवादः)
विन्दानुविन्दावावन्त्यौ संमतौ रथसत्तमौ । कृतिनौ समरे तात दृढवीर्यपराक्रमौ
vindānuvindāv āvantyau saṃmatau rathasattamau | kṛtinau samare tāta dṛḍhavīryaparākramau ||
भीष्म बोले—अवन्ती के राजकुमार विन्द और अनुविन्द दोनों श्रेष्ठ रथी माने जाते हैं। तात! वे समर में निपुण, युद्धकलाओं में प्रवीण तथा दृढ़ बल और पराक्रम से सम्पन्न हैं।
