दर्शनस्य च वक्रस्य कृत्स्नस्यापनयस्य च । द्रक्ष्यसि त्वं फलं तीव्रमचिरेण सुयोधन
darśanasya ca vakrasya kṛtsnasyāpanayasya ca | drakṣyasi tvaṃ phalaṃ tīvram acireṇa suyodhana ||
संजय बोले— हे सुयोधन! अपनी टेढ़ी दृष्टि और समस्त (उचित) परामर्श के पूर्ण त्याग का तीव्र फल तू शीघ्र ही देखेगा।
संजय उवाच
A distorted moral vision and the deliberate rejection of wise counsel inevitably ripen into severe consequences; ethical failure is not merely a private fault but a cause that quickly produces public suffering.
Sañjaya addresses Duryodhana (Suyodhana), warning him that his perverse outlook and his total dismissal of proper advice will soon yield a sharp result—foreshadowing the imminent calamity of the Kurukṣetra conflict.
