अद्येदानीं विजानीम: सन्ति षण्ढा: सशृज्भका: । “श्रीकृष्ण! मैं देखता हूँ संसारमें अकस्मात् ही तुम्हारा महान् यश फैल गया है; परंतु अब इस समय हमें मालूम हुआ है कि जो लोग तुम्हारे पूजक हैं
adyedānīṃ vijānīmaḥ santi ṣaṇḍhāḥ saśṛjbhakāḥ |
संजय बोले— आज अब हमें ज्ञात हुआ कि संसार में नपुंसक भी हैं, जो केवल पुरुषत्व का चिह्न धारण किए हुए हैं। हे श्रीकृष्ण! मैं देखता हूँ कि तुम्हारा महान् यश अकस्मात् ही जगत में फैल गया है; परन्तु अब हमें यह मालूम हुआ कि जो लोग अपने को तुम्हारा पूजक कहते हैं, वे वास्तव में पुरुष-चिह्नधारी हिजड़े ही हैं।
