पाञ्चजन्यस्य निर्घोषं विस्फूर्जितमिवाशने: । निशम्य सर्वसैन्यानि समहृष्यन्त सर्वश:
pāñcajanyasya nirghoṣaṃ visphūrjitam ivāśaneḥ | niśamya sarvasainyāni samahṛṣyanta sarvaśaḥ ||
वैशम्पायन बोले— बिजली की गड़गड़ाहट के समान पाञ्चजन्य का गम्भीर घोष सुनकर, सेना की समस्त टुकड़ियाँ चारों ओर से हर्ष और रोमाञ्च से भर उठीं।
