चैद्यश्न चेकितानश्रु शिखण्डी चापराजित: । इन्द्रगोपकवर्णाश्व॒ केकया भ्रातरस्तथा । इन्द्रायुधसवर्णश्र॒ कुन्तिभोजो महामना:
caidyaś ca cekitānaś ca śikhaṇḍī cāparājitaḥ | indragopakavarṇāś ca kekayā bhrātaras tathā | indrāyudhasavarṇāś ca kuntibhojo mahāmanāḥ |
कर्ण ने कहा— “उनकी ओर चेदिराज धृष्टकेतु और चेकितान हैं; युद्ध में अजेय शिखण्डी भी है। इन्द्रगोप की-सी आभा वाले अश्वों सहित केकय-भ्राता हैं, और इन्द्रधनुष के समान दीप्तिमान, महामना कुन्तिभोज भी। ऐसे महाबली सहायक युधिष्ठिर के पक्ष में हों तो पृथ्वी और कुरुराज्य—दोनों उसके ही अधिकार में आते दिखते हैं।”
