नहुष उवाच एवं भवतु सुश्रोणि यथा मामिह भाषसे । ज्ञात्वा चागमनं कार्य सत्यमेतदनुस्मरे:
Nahuṣa uvāca: evaṁ bhavatu suśroṇi yathā mām iha bhāṣase | jñātvā cāgamanaṁ kārya satyam etad anusmareḥ ||
नहुष ने कहा—“सुश्रोणि! जैसा तुम यहाँ मुझसे कह रही हो, वैसा ही हो। और जो करना उचित है उसे जानकर फिर मेरे पास आना; इस सत्य को स्मरण रखना।”
