तथा विराटनगरे श्रूयते महदद्भुतम् । एकस्य च बहूनां च पर्याप्त तन्निदर्शनम्
tathā virāṭanagare śrūyate mahad adbhutam | ekasya ca bahūnāṃ ca paryāptaṃ tan nidarśanam ||
इसी प्रकार विराटनगर में भी एक महान् अद्भुत घटना सुनी जाती है—एक अकेले के द्वारा बहुत-से महारथियों से युद्ध; वह उदाहरण ही भावी युद्ध के परिणाम को बताने के लिए पर्याप्त है।
