संगरेषु निपातेषु तथा तद्व्यसनेषु च । अनुृतं नोक्तपूर्व मे तेन सत्येन खं ब्रज
saṅgareṣu nipāteṣu tathā tadvyasaneṣu ca | anṛtaṃ noktapūrvaṃ me tena satyena khaṃ braja ||
संग्रामों में, रणभूमि में गिरने के क्षणों में तथा उन विपत्तियों में भी मैंने पहले कभी असत्य नहीं कहा है। उस सत्य के प्रभाव से तुम स्वर्ग को प्राप्त हो।
