तदलं ते विरोधेन शमं गच्छ नृपात्मज । वासुदेवेन तीर्थेन कुलं रक्षितुमहसि
tad alaṁ te virodhena śamaṁ gaccha nṛpātmaja | vāsudevena tīrthena kulaṁ rakṣitum arhasi ||
अतः नृपात्मज! इस विरोध से तुम्हें कुछ लाभ नहीं होगा; शान्ति की ओर जाओ। वासुदेव—जो पवित्र आश्रय हैं—उन्हें सहायक बनाकर पाण्डवों से संधि कर अपने कुल की रक्षा करनी चाहिए।
