Discourse on Wealth and Royal Duty
धनात् कुलं प्रभवति धनादू धर्म: प्रवर्धते । नाधनस्यास्त्ययं लोको न पर: पुरुषोत्तम
dhanāt kulaṃ prabhavati dhanād dharmaḥ pravardhate | nādhanasyāsty ayaṃ loko na paraḥ puruṣottama ||
धन से कुल की प्रतिष्ठा बढ़ती है और धन से ही धर्म की वृद्धि होती है। पुरुषोत्तम! निर्धन के लिए न यह लोक सुखदायक होता है, न परलोक।
