सम्यग्वृत्ता: स्वधर्मस्था न कुतश्चिद् भयान्विता: । इस प्रकार राजाके आश्रयमें रहकर सारी प्रजा सदाचारपरायण, अपने-अपने धर्ममें तत्पर और सब ओरसे निर्भय हो जाती है
samyagvṛttāḥ svadharmasthā na kutaścid bhayānvitāḥ |
राजा के आश्रय में रहकर सारी प्रजा सदाचारपरायण, अपने-अपने धर्म में तत्पर और सब ओर से निर्भय हो जाती है। जहाँ शासन धर्मयुक्त और रक्षक होता है, वहाँ शील और धर्म स्वयमेव बढ़ते हैं और भय दूर हो जाता है।
