शोकाकुल-युधिष्ठिरं प्रति कुन्त्याः कालोचितोपदेशः | Kuntī’s Timely Counsel to the Grief-Stricken Yudhiṣṭhira
न चैनमशकदू भानुरहं वा स्नेहकारणै: । पुरा प्रत्यनुनेतुं वा नेतुं वाप्यपेकतां त्वया
na cainam aśakad ū bhānur ahaṃ vā snehakāraṇaiḥ | purā pratyanunetuṃ vā netuṃ vāpy ekatāṃ tvayā ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—न तो भगवान् भानु (सूर्य) और न ही मैं, स्नेह का कारण दिखाकर, पहले भी उसे अपने पक्ष में कर सके; और न ही तुम्हारे साथ एकता (मेल) करा सके।
