Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
ततस्ते धर्मनिरता: सम्यक् तैरभिपूजिता: । श्वः समेष्याम इत्युक्त्वा यथेष्टं त्वरिता ययु:
tataste dharmaniratāḥ samyak tair abhipūjitāḥ | śvaḥ sameṣyāma ity uktvā yatheṣṭaṃ tvaritā yayuḥ ||
तब उन लोगों द्वारा भली-भाँति पूजित वे धर्मनिष्ठ महर्षि—“हम लोग कल प्रातः फिर यहाँ आएँगे”—ऐसा कहकर शीघ्र ही अपने-अपने अभीष्ट स्थान को चले गए।
