वन्दनीयाश्व वरदा वयमप्यनुयायिन: । मनुष्याणां विशेषेण नावेक्ष्या इति मे मति:
Transliteration
vandaniyāś ca varadā vayam apy anuyāyinaḥ | manuṣyāṇāṁ viśeṣeṇa nāvekṣyā iti me matiḥ ||
Translation
नाग ने कहा—हम भी वन्दनीय हैं, वर देने में समर्थ हैं, और हमारे अपने अनुयायी-सेवक हैं। परन्तु मेरी मति में—विशेषतः मनुष्यों के लिए—हमारा दर्शन सहज नहीं है।
