धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
जनमेजयेन तच्छुत्वा कृतं सम्यग् यथाविधि । यूयं हि तप्ततपस: सर्वे च चरितव्रता:
janamejayena tac chrutvā kṛtaṃ samyag yathāvidhi | yūyaṃ hi taptatapasaḥ sarve ca caritavratāḥ ||
इसे सुनकर जनमेजय ने शास्त्रोक्त विधि के अनुसार सब कुछ भली-भाँति किया। और तुम सब तो तपस्या से तपे हुए तपस्वी हो तथा आचरण और व्रत में दृढ़ हो।
