नारद: सुमहद्धूतं सर्वलोकानचीचरत् । त॑ देशमगमद् राजन् बदर्याश्रममाशुग:
nāradaḥ sumahaddhūtaṃ sarvalokān acīcarat | taṃ deśam agamad rājan badaryāśramam āśugaḥ ||
भीष्म बोले—नारद, जो अत्यन्त महान् दूत थे, समस्त लोकों में विचरते रहे। फिर, हे राजन्, वे शीघ्र ही उस स्थान—बदरी-आश्रम—को जा पहुँचे, जहाँ दिव्य उपदेश की तात्कालिकता और अधिकार प्रकट होता है।
