पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings
ततः स प्राड्मुखो विद्वानादित्ये नचिरोदिते । पाणिपादं समादाय विनीतवदुपाविशत्
tataḥ sa prāṅmukho vidvān āditye nacirodite | pāṇipādaṃ samādāya vinītavad upāviśat ||
फिर थोड़ी ही देर में जब सूर्य उदित हुआ, तब वे विद्वान् शुकदेव पूर्वाभिमुख होकर हाथ-पाँव समेटकर विनीत भाव से बैठ गये। इस प्रकार संयत होकर वे योग में प्रवृत्त हुए।
भीष्म उवाच
