सहस््रशो5प्यनेकश: प्रवक्तुमुत्सहाम ते । अबुद्धिमोहनं पुन: प्रभुर्निनाय पावक:

Transliteration

sahasraśo 'py anekaśaḥ pravaktum utsahāma te | abuddhi-mohanaṃ punaḥ prabhur nināya pāvakaḥ ||

Translation

व्यास ने कहा—वत्स! मैं यह बात हजारों बार, बार-बार, बलपूर्वक कह सकता हूँ: सर्वशक्तिमान प्रभु अग्नि के समान पवित्र करनेवाले हैं; वे बुद्धि पर छा जानेवाले मोह को दूर कर देते हैं। इसलिए जिसकी बुद्धि उस मोह से आक्रान्त नहीं होती, वह धर्मात्मा सदा पुण्यलोक की ओर ले जाया जाता है।
