Śānti-parva Adhyāya 30: Nārada–Parvata Samaya-bhaṅga, Śāpa, and the Marriage of Sukumārī
स तद् वाक्यं तु विज्ञाय नारद: पर्वतं तथा
sa tad vākyaṃ tu vijñāya nāradaḥ parvataṃ tathā | yukto 'pi nityadharmajña na vai svargam avāpsyasi ||
उन वचनों को सुनकर नारदजी क्रोध से भर उठे और अपने भानजे पर्वत से बोले—“अरे! तू तपस्या, ब्रह्मचर्य, सत्य और इन्द्रिय-संयम से युक्त तथा नित्य धर्मपरायण होकर भी स्वर्गलोक को प्राप्त नहीं करेगा।”
