पिता गुरु्न संदेहो वेदविद्याप्रद: प्रभु: अतो भार्गव इत्युक्त मया गोत्र तवान्तिके
pitā gurau na saṁdeho vedavidyāpradaḥ prabhuḥ | ato bhārgava ity uktaṁ mayā gotraṁ tavāntike ||
इसमें संदेह नहीं कि वेद और विद्या देने वाला समर्थ गुरु पिता के समान है; इसलिए आपके निकट मैंने अपना गोत्र ‘भार्गव’ कहा।
