Haṃsa–Sādhya Saṃvāda: Satya, Dama, Kṣamā and the Discipline of Speech
उपपच्त्योपलब्धेषु लोकेषु च समो भव,'दैवेच्छासे जो भी लौकिक पदार्थ उपलब्ध हों, उनमें समान भाव रखो--राग-द्वेष न करो'
upapratyopalabdheṣu lokeṣu ca samo bhava
दैव और परिस्थिति से जो-जो लोक-व्यवहार और पदार्थ तुम्हें प्राप्त हों, उनमें समभाव रखो। राग-द्वेष में न पड़ो; जो आए उसे भीतर से विचलित हुए बिना स्वीकार करो और धर्म में स्थिर रहो।
