Ethical Restraint, Mortality, and Karma
समड़ उवाच भूतं भव्यं भविष्यं च सर्वमेतत् तु मानद । तेषां तत्त्वानि जानामि ततो न विमना हाहम्
Samaḍa uvāca—bhūtaṁ bhavyaṁ bhaviṣyaṁ ca sarvam etat tu mānada | teṣāṁ tattvāni jānāmi tato na vimanā hy aham ||
समड़ ने कहा—हे मानद देवर्षे! मैं भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य—इन सबका यथार्थ तत्त्व जानता हूँ; इसलिए मेरा मन कभी विषाद में नहीं डूबता।
