तेन शब्देन महता त्रस्तास्तत्र दिवौकस:,उस महाभयंकर कोलाहलसे उस यज्ञमें पधारे हुए समस्त देवता व्याकुल हो उठे। पर्वत टूक-टूक होकर बिखर गये। धरती डोलने लगी, आँधी चलने लगी और समुद्रमें तूफान आ गया

उस महान शब्द से वहाँ यज्ञ में उपस्थित समस्त देवता त्रस्त होकर व्याकुल हो उठे। वह कोलाहल इतना भयंकर था कि पर्वत टूट-टूटकर बिखर गए, पृथ्वी काँप उठी, प्रचण्ड आँधियाँ चलने लगीं और समुद्र में घोर तूफान उमड़ पड़ा।
