ललाटात्‌ प्रसृतो घोर: स्वेदबिन्दुर्बभूव ह । तस्मिन्‌ पतितमात्रे च स्वेदबिन्दौ तदा भुवि

lalāṭāt prasṛto ghoraḥ svedabindur babhūva ha | tasmin patitamātre ca svedabindau tadā bhuvi

भीष्म ने कहा—“ललाट से एक भयंकर पसीने की बूँद प्रकट हुई। और उसी क्षण, जैसे ही वह पसीने की बूँद पृथ्वी पर गिरी…”
