उमोवाच भगवन् सर्वभूतेषु प्रभावाभ्यधिको गुणै: । अजय्यश्नाप्यधृष्यश्न तेजसा यशसा श्रिया
umovāca bhagavan sarvabhūteṣu prabhāvābhyadhiko guṇaiḥ | ajayyaś cāpy adhṛṣyaś ca tejasā yaśasā śriyā | mahābhāga! yajñe yaḥ khalu evaṃ tvayi bhāgadāna-niṣedhaḥ kṛtaḥ, tena me mahad duḥkham abhavat | anagha! asmin apamāne mama sarvaṃ śarīraṃ kampate |
उमा ने कहा—भगवन्! आप समस्त प्राणियों में प्रभाव और गुणों से श्रेष्ठ हैं; आप अजेय, अधृष्य, तेजस्वी, यशस्वी तथा श्रीसम्पन्न हैं।
