तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः
Instruction on the Cessation of Craving
गृहस्थ एव यजते गृहस्थस्तप्यते तप: । गार्हस्थ्यमस्य धर्मस्य मूलं य्किंचिदेजते
gṛhastha eva yajate gṛhasthas tapyate tapaḥ | gārhasthyam asya dharmasya mūlaṃ yat kiñcid ejate ||
गृहस्थ ही यज्ञ करता है और गृहस्थ ही तप करता है। मनुष्य जो कुछ भी शुभ कर्म-चेष्टा करता है, उस समस्त धर्म का मूल गार्हस्थ्य-आश्रम ही है।
