Instruction on the Cessation of Craving
अन्यत्र तर्कशास्त्रेभ्य आगमार्थ यथागमम् । मेरे मनमें एक भयानक संशय उठ खड़ा हुआ है
anyatra tarkaśāstrebhya āgamārthaṃ yathāgamam |
कपिल ने कहा—तर्कशास्त्रों को अलग रखकर, आगम के अर्थ को उसी आगम के अनुसार स्पष्ट कीजिए। मेरे मन में एक भयानक संशय उठ खड़ा हुआ है, जिसे आप ही मिटा सकते हैं। आपने कहा था कि सन्मार्ग में स्थित रहकर यहाँ-इसी जीवन में योगमार्ग के फल का प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन किया जा सकता है। मैं पूछता हूँ—जिसकी आप उपासना करते हैं, उसका यहाँ अत्यन्त प्रत्यक्ष, प्रत्यक्षानुभव-योग्य फल क्या है? तर्क का सहारा लिए बिना उसका प्रतिपादन कीजिए, जिससे मैं आगम का अभिप्राय जान सकूँ।
