पापात्म-धर्मात्म-लक्षणम् तथा निर्वेदेन मोक्षमार्गः | Marks of the Sinful and the Righteous; Dispassion (Nirveda) as a Path to Liberation
स मया सान्त्वितो वाग्भि: स्वागतेनाभिपूजित: । अर्घ्य॑ पाद्यं यथान्यायं मया च प्रतिपादित:
sa mayā sāntvito vāgbhiḥ svāgatenābhipūjitaḥ | arghya-pādyaṃ yathānyāyaṃ mayā ca pratipāditaḥ ||
भीष्म बोले—मैंने मधुर वचनों से उसे सान्त्वना दी, यथोचित स्वागत-सत्कार किया। शास्त्रोक्त विधि के अनुसार मैंने अर्घ्य-पाद्य अर्पित किए और स्वयं ही उसकी विधिवत् पूजा की।
