Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
अभिभूयेह चार्चिष्मद् व्यसृजत् सप्त मानसान् | दूरगं बहुधागामि प्रार्थनासंशयात्मकम्
abhibhūyeha cārciṣmad vyasṛjat sapta mānasān | dūragam bahudhāgāmi prārthanāsaṁśayātmakam ||
व्यास ने कहा—यहाँ सब पदार्थों को अभिभूत करके उस तेजस्वी तत्त्व ने सात मानस-ऋषियों की सृष्टि की। मन दूर तक जाता है, अनेक प्रकार से आना-जाना करता है; वह प्रार्थना और संशय से युक्त है। फिर भी चैतन्य से संयुक्त होकर वह समस्त विषयों को वश में कर सृष्टि का कारण बनता है।
