ऋषयस्तपसा वेदानध्यैषन्त दिवानिशम् । अनादिनिधना विद्या वागुत्सृष्टा स्वयम्भुवा
ṛṣayas tapasā vedān adhyaiṣanta divāniśam | anādinidhanā vidyā vāg utsṛṣṭā svayambhuvā |
तप के प्रभाव से महर्षि दिन-रात वेदों का अध्ययन करते थे। आदि-अन्त से रहित वह वैदिक विद्या स्वयम्भू ब्रह्मा द्वारा वाणी के रूप में प्रथम बार उच्चरित हुई।
