ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana

सर्वे धर्मपराश्चासन् सर्वे सततसत्रिण: । अन्तरिक्षचरा: सर्वे सर्वेडभिमुखयोधिन:
sarve dharmaparāś cāsan sarve satatasatriṇaḥ | antarīkṣacarāḥ sarve sarve 'bhimukhayodhinaḥ ||
भीष्म ने कहा— “वे सब धर्मपरायण थे; वे सब निरन्तर सत्र-यज्ञ करने वाले थे। वे सब अन्तरिक्ष में विचरते थे और वे सब अभिमुख-योधा थे—छलरहित, सम्मुख युद्ध करने वाले।”
