Adhyāya 222 — ब्रह्मस्थानप्राप्ति: मोक्षधर्मे समत्वव्रतम्
Attaining the Brahman-Station: The Vow of Equanimity in Mokṣadharma
वेद धर्मविधिं कृत्स्नं भूतानां चाप्यनित्यताम् । तस्माच्छक्र न शोचामि सर्व होवेदमन्तवत्
veda dharmavidhiṁ kṛtsnaṁ bhūtānāṁ cāpy anityatām | tasmāc chākra na śocāmi sarvaṁ hy etad amantavat ||
हे शक्र (इन्द्र)! मैं धर्म की सम्पूर्ण विधि और समस्त प्राणियों की अनित्यता जानता हूँ; इसलिए ‘यह सब अन्तवान् है’ ऐसा समझकर मैं किसी के लिये शोक नहीं करता।
